The GroupWise User Group South Africa has been formally announced during the GroupWiseR 2007 event in Pretoria, South Africa. Over 80 people attended this year. With excellent presentations by speakers such as Bill Pray and Erno de Korte, the 2007 event was worth the while for every attendee. To ensure that the GroupWise Users of South Africa start to mobilise themselves to ensure that the right message gets to the right people within every organisation, the Users Group was founded. This website will contain information about the user group, its activities, upcoming events and contributions by members of the GroupWise Community in South Africa and the rest of the world.
The GroupWise User Group for South Africa and the rest of Africa has been created to link users of Novell GroupWise with each other. This user group will provide platform from where members will be able to exchange ideas, request information and receive other benefits that non-members will not have access to. The user group intends to promote the use of Novell GroupWise as well as to provide assistance in terms competitive information, educating your management on why GroupWise "is still better". Here we will make sure that the community members are informed, and become more powerful as users of Novell GroupWise.
